As the main designer for the Moomoo 2022 Bay Area branding campaign, I played a pivotal role in bringing the brand to life through a 1 million dollar advertising campaign. The campaign utilized a variety of out-of-home (OOH) advertising channels, including the San Jose International Airport, Highway 101, and BART station, to reach a wide and diverse audience. My creative vision and expertise in design allowed me to create a cohesive and impactful visual identity that effectively communicated the brand's messaging and values. The success of this campaign is a testament to my ability to bring innovative and effective branding solutions to life.

As the graphic designer for the Industrial Designers Society of America's quarterly publication, INNOVATION magazine, I played a key role in bringing the magazine to life. My expertise in design, combined with my attention to detail, helped to elevate the magazine's visual appeal and make it a must-read for those in the industrial design community.
As a guest graphic designer for the GBO Leaders Circle event, I had the privilege of working with the event team to create a cohesive and impactful visual identity. My role in this project was to ensure that the event's aesthetic was in line with its goals and objectives, and to help create a memorable experience for the top 290 leaders in attendance. It was an honor to be a part of such a prestigious gathering and to contribute to its visual impact.

As the designer for the book accompanying the exhibition produced by the Center for the Study of Political Graphics (CSPG), I had the opportunity to bring the powerful messages of the posters to life. The exhibition, which featured posters from Los Angeles to New York, from Mexico to Bangladesh, and from Europe to Africa, showcased the impact that graphic design can have in shaping political discourse and creating social change. My design for the accompanying book not only showcased the posters themselves, but also provided context and background information to help readers better understand their significance. My contribution to this project helped to elevate the exhibition and bring attention to the important role that graphic design plays in political activism.
As the creator of the branding identity for Body & Soul Massage Studio, I was tasked with communicating the unique concept of balancing both the body and soul. Through my design skills and creative vision, I was able to develop a visual identity that effectively conveyed this concept and accurately reflected the values and mission of the studio. My design solution emphasized the importance of finding balance and harmony between the physical and emotional self, and helped to establish a strong and recognizable brand for Body & Soul Massage Studio. By crafting a memorable and impactful visual identity, I was able to add value to the studio and set the foundation for their future success.
As the designer of the t-shirt design featuring the quote "True is true", I aimed to visually communicate a philosophical concept that explores the idea of truth. The quote highlights the idea that truth is relative and a product of evaluation, but also acknowledges that there must be some fundamental truth in order for the concept of truth to work in the first place. My design solution sought to visually convey this complex idea in a simple and impactful way, making the philosophical concept accessible and thought-provoking to a wider audience. By combining typography and imagery, I was able to create a memorable and visually appealing design that effectively communicates this important idea.
As a continuation of "The New Form of the News" project, my final project seeks to further explore and refine my ideas and approach. I have come to the realization that this project has the potential to become a lifelong practice, as it offers me both personal and professional benefits. For my final project, I designed a newspaper to serve as an introduction and advertisement for my ongoing work. The newspaper serves as a visual representation of my approach and aims to encourage others to engage with the news spectrum and find their own perspectives. The centerpiece of the advertising is a striking visual representation of a "News black hole", which symbolizes the power of a news perspective and the importance of considering multiple perspectives when evaluating the news. Through this project, I aim to challenge conventional thinking about news and inspire others to actively participate in creating and shaping the news.
As the creator of "The New Form of the News" project, I am utilizing my background as a news editor and graphic designer to critically examine daily news through a visual lens. This project serves as a personal exploration and investigation into the ways in which news is presented and consumed. By combining my knowledge of both news and design, I am able to better understand both subjects and create unique and thought-provoking critiques of daily news. My work on this project not only showcases my skills as a graphic designer, but also demonstrates my ability to approach complex topics with a critical and analytical eye. Through "The New Form of the News", I aim to challenge conventional forms of news presentation and encourage others to think more deeply about the way they consume information.

Through the Schematic, I aim to provide a clear and concise representation of my perspectives on graphic design, while also demonstrating my ability to analyze and understand my own work.
I created a publication to inspire and motivate students at Inglewood High School to think about their futures and plan for their lives. Through researching the school and its students, I discovered a lack of awareness about goals and aspirations. To address this, I gathered real-life stories of people from the Inglewood community and used them as a source of inspiration. Each story showcases the diverse careers and paths people have taken, demonstrating that there is no one right way to live a fulfilling life. The publication, titled "Lives' Recipe," serves as a reminder to students that all roads lead to success, and the only thing they need to do is keep moving forward. The publication aims to evoke thought and encourage students to think about their own lives and what they want to achieve.
Poster for Sahara Tahoe
Amy was a nurse at the Sahara Tahoe Casino in Stateline, Nevada. Amy worked until about 2:00 a.m. on September 6, 1970, treating her last patient at 1:40 a.m. Later that same day, both Amy’s employer and her landlord received phone calls from an unknown male falsely claiming she had left town due to a family emergency. On March 22, 1971, a postcard to the San Francisco Chronicle, addressed to “Paul Averly” and believed to be from the Zodiac Killer, appeared to claim responsibility for the disappearance. What appeared to be a grave site was discovered near the Clair Tappaan Lodge in Norden, California, but an excavation yielded only a pair of sunglasses. Amy was never found
This project is a unique project in which I created a fictional character, Mike Cliff, an anti- war graphic designer. The character was inspired by a friend of mine, who is a photographer and was detached to Vietnam to take photos. After coming back the USA for 15 years, he got cancer because of Agent Orange. So, I used the story as a model. Mick Cliff was a journalist and then, quit his job to be an anti-war designer because his older brother died caused by Agent Orange. His mother was a propaganda artist and taught him how to collage and make images. So, generally speaking, I built the character based on real history and war issues. Also, I made up his background and details to develop a 3D profile. Then, I used the profile to create images. Paul Rand and other designers' work from that time was also introduced into the project as reference.
I designed the Top Secret Monopoly game to bring a new understanding of the Chinese social system to the audience. Through the game, players can experience the different hierarchies within Chinese society and the ways in which people make a living within these hierarchies. The game consists of questions that players have to answer, and the answers determine the player's progress in the game. The questions are based on real-life situations in China and the answers reflect the cultural norms and values of the Chinese social system. The objective of the game is to teach players about the Chinese social system in a unique and engaging way. By playing the game, players will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of the Chinese social system and the different ways in which people live within it.
The purpose of this project is to raise awareness about the importance of information security and the dangers of digital spying. By using a lighthearted and entertaining story, I hope to engage the audience and make them think about the issue in a different way. The story of Cookie Monster and Carl shows how easily personal information can be stolen and used for malicious purposes. The lesson learned from this story is that it is important to be aware of who has access to our personal information and to take steps to protect it. Through this project, I hope to encourage people to think critically about their online behavior and to take steps to secure their personal information.
